Siu + Natalie (Part III) | Cebu Airport Prenup

This is the third and final installment of the Siu and Natalie engagement session series.

Siu’s dying wish (aside from marrying Natalie, of course), is to have a plane chase him in the field ala Cary Grant in the Hitchcock masterpiece “North by Northwest”. Siu is also a big comic book fan. We thought it would be nice to inject a Lois and Clark theme to the shoot as well.

The Superman plus Cary Grant theme turned out to be a vintage glamour shoot styled by Natalie herself. The couple looked so stunning that they look like they came straight from a movie set.

Siu and Natalie’s prenup photoclip will be up next! And oh, more Superman on the wedding. =)

Siu + Natalie (Part II) | ALA Gym Cebu Prenup

When Siu first met Natalie in Hongkong.  Siu noticed Natalie’s bloody knuckles–make that, Siu fell in love with Natalie’s bloody knuckles.  Natalie was in fact at that time just came from a boxing session at a gym.  With that pretty face and elegant stature, who would know that Natalie is a kick-ass boxer?  Good luck Siu! =)

Siu + Natalie (Part I) | Cebu Prenup

Location: Cebu Yacht Club

Siu is Chinese-British. Natalie is Chinese-Australian. The two met while in Hongkong. Initially, the concepts planned for them were Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Superman. We scrapped the Tiffany concept at the very last minute, and decided to go with a “lovers’ date” (three dates at that with a twist at the end). In some of the pictures, there are references to certain movies the couple loved (Siu being such a big movie buff), including Sex and the City, North by Northwest, and some boxing films.

One post is not enough to show their engagement session so we will be breaking it into three parts.  The “first date” included a trip to the Cebu Yacht Club. And how lucky we are to be able to shoot at a very big and beautiful yacht.

Some scenes here were shot on location at the university I went to back in college, UP Cebu. It was nice going around the old campus again, reminiscing, while Ryan and Cha-cha were reliving their own first meeting not too long ago at the same university. It's amazing how sometimes the most magical place on earth can be just your humble little UP Cebu Cafeteria. After that, we went to Daan Bantayan for some shots as well then we went all out and shot the rest of the photos in Arizona, USA. *Ahem* haha.
