When Siu first met Natalie in Hongkong. Siu noticed Natalie’s bloody knuckles–make that, Siu fell in love with Natalie’s bloody knuckles. Natalie was in fact at that time just came from a boxing session at a gym. With that pretty face and elegant stature, who would know that Natalie is a kick-ass boxer? Good luck Siu! =)

Siu is Chinese-British. Natalie is Chinese-Australian. The two met while in Hongkong. Initially, the concepts planned for them were Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Superman. We scrapped the Tiffany concept at the very last minute, and decided to go with a “lovers’ date” (three dates at that with a twist at the end). In some of the pictures, there are references to certain movies the couple loved (Siu being such a big movie buff), including Sex and the City, North by Northwest, and some boxing films.
One post is not enough to show their engagement session so we will be breaking it into three parts. The “first date” included a trip to the Cebu Yacht Club. And how lucky we are to be able to shoot at a very big and beautiful yacht.

Some scenes here were shot on location at the university I went to back in college, UP Cebu. It was nice going around the old campus again, reminiscing, while Ryan and Cha-cha were reliving their own first meeting not too long ago at the same university. It's amazing how sometimes the most magical place on earth can be just your humble little UP Cebu Cafeteria. After that, we went to Daan Bantayan for some shots as well then we went all out and shot the rest of the photos in Arizona, USA. *Ahem* haha.

It has been quite a while since I’ve been stalking Kat’s blog Rock n Roll Bride. I am very thankful to Kat that she finds our work downright gorgeous!
I really like what she’s doing because it gives us a whole new dimension to conventional wedding and engagement (or prenup in the Philippines) photography.
Most (if not everything) of what she features show the unique personalities and individual styles of the bride and groom. This pretty much reflects what we (Jeffroger Kho, Gilbert Chua) do!
Rock ‘n Roll Bride promotes individuality and general awesomeness in a cookie cutter, pastel pink, poufy dressed wedding world. Don’t let the wedding industry define your day – let *you* define your day. – I agree!
So if you want your prenup (engagement) and wedding to be downright crazy, wild, fierce, fabolous and addictive, then you’ve come to the right trigger-happy people! It’s your BIG day, do it the Rock n Roll way!
