New York City is one of my favorite places in the world. It’s gritty, it’s got attitude, and it’s not all good stuff in there and yet you can’t deny that the city just exudes life. Modern life. The city is a testament that the whole world can co-exist and bring balance to an increasingly globalized society.
It has been destroyed many times in several disaster flicks over the years and yet it has also given us the perfect backdrop to fall in love with over and over again in some of the most romantic movies of the past several decades. For that reason, many of New York’s most recognizable landmarks have also become reminders to many people that romance is alive and love is out there waiting to find you at every corner or every turn of every street. (That or a mugger or a criminal, but that’s a totally different story haha.)
Carl and Cathy flew in from Florida to New York to have their photos taken… which was so sweet of them. It was freezing on the day of the shoot, but these two were so warm and chatty that I forgot I was working. Visiting the city’s most iconic places with them felt like watching a day in the life of these two lovebirds unfold as they spread their love and infectious personalities all over Manhattan.
Big shoutout to my cousin Antoinette for assisting on the day of the shoot. One of these days I’m going to have to invite myself to one of your trips to an exotic destination in the world haha!
